On Thursday, the City of Regina and the Regina Pats announced a partnership for the second year in a row. Once again, the I Love Regina Pats Game will return this year on Nov. 1 at 2 p.m. against the Lethbridge Hurricanes. According to the City of Regina, all tickets are available for $13, plus taxes and fees, making it one of the most affordable events of the season. “Thinking about last year, it was a great experience, especially for the first go around,” Regina Mayor Chad Bachynski said. “It was cool to see the partnership come together. “[There were] great surprises, like seeing our firefighter not only bring the truck, but spin the tunes, because I think he was deejaying that year, and maybe we’ll see it again,” he said with a laugh. This time around, the game will shift from a weekday to Sunday afternoon. Last year’s edition of the I Love Regina Pats Game was the highest selling weekday game of the 2025-26 season. “I think Sundays make sense. We’re trying to focus on having Sundays for families and making kind of a ‘Sunday-fun day’ atmosphere,” said Patrick Pion, vice president of Business Operations. “I think it gives families more of an opportunity to come out compared to a weeknight.” Aside from the the game itself, fans will be able to attend a free pre-game party at 12 p.m., with other activities such as face painting, bouncy castles, a fire truck, along with other city vehicles and machinery. After the game, ticket holders will be able to hit the ice for a post-game public skate along with some of the Pats’ players. Rental skates will not be available, and a helmet is mandatory for those 15 years and younger.
