A building that once housed Staples and then Krazy Binz in Regina’s east end is the subject of a public notice from the City of Regina, indicating the space will be used as a car dealership. The dealership will be operated at 2660 East Star Lite Street by the same group that owns Olympic Recreation and will be added into its Olympic Super Centre, operating out of the former Costco location nearby. Any car dealership exceeding 1,000 square meters must go through the discretionary use process, according to city bylaws. That means the application will eventually go before the Regina Planning Commission and city council. The Boston Pizza on the same property is not expected to be impacted by the application, as the former Staples and Krazy Binz is listed as the subject unit.
