Before taking the stage at Mosaic Stadium on Tuesday night, members of the Foo Fighters were seen at two local businesses, making stops at a burger joint and ice cream shop. Elle Grzeda of Elle’s Cafe posted pictures of her and the band members outside her shop on social media with a caption that said “Thank you so much for stopping by.” But the encounter didn’t end there. She later posted a video that said “the Foo Fighters showed up at Elle’s Cafe, invited us to the concert, and we’re going backstage to meet them.” She was given tickets to the show along with backstage passes, later posting video from the side of the stage as the band was playing, and pictures of her and the band after the show with the caption, “it was a beautiful night in Regina Saskatchewan!” Another post read, “they were the sweetest, kindest, most down-to-earth humans ever.” Guitarist Pat Smear even wore an Elle’s Cafe hoodie on stage. And the local love didn’t stop there, as another band member was spotted at Paddy Wagon. Owner Kyle Forrest posted what he called a “cool moment” with keyboardist Rami Jaffee. “Really appreciate you coming through, absolute legend,” he added in the caption. The Foo Fighters played the first concert at Mosaic Stadium in seven years on Tuesday night.
