Crumbl cookies are now available in the Queen City to the delight of those who enjoy the brand’s photogenic desserts. The chain’s 30th Canadian location at 2082 Aurora Blvd. in east Regina was host to an extended lineup Friday morning – with some eager customers beginning to line up at around 3 a.m. to be among the first to enter. “I actually heard that this morning that the first people were here, 3:45 a.m. and, it’s because the first 100 people lined up were getting free shirts and [a] sticker,” Rachelle Schlichemeyer, the shift lead captain at Crumbl in Regina, told CTV News. For those in the line itself, their objective was clear. “I just love the cookies,” one resident said. “Yeah, they’re the best and I wanted the t-shirt.” “Like their uniqueness like, every week, it’s something new,” another resident told CTV News, referring to the chain’s weekly flavours. Mayor Chad Bachynski first hinted at the opening back in March. The bakery chain, founded in 2017 in Utah, features locations across the U.S. and Canada. Edmonton received Canada’s first Crumbl in 2023, with the chain’s Saskatoon location opening later that year.
