A 64-year-old Saskatchewan man is facing child pornography charges. RCMP say Joseph Emond of Carlyle was arrested after police responded to a report of a suspicious person in a vehicle parked near a school on Nov. 20. Officers searched the vehicle and, as a result, Emond has been charged with possessing child pornography. S/Sgt. Tom Vanderzwan said Thursday that the suspicious person had been seen near the school several times before a parent contacted police. Emond is scheduled to appear in court in Carlyle on Feb. 8.
