WINNIPEG - Manitoba Premier Brian Pallister has dropped another hint that he may call an early election.
Pallister says he has heard from many people who don't want politics to interfere with Manitoba's 150th anniversary celebrations in 2020.
Pallister says he think it's a great idea to put the province ahead of politics, and he thinks partisanship should be separated from the celebrations.
The next election is set for Oct. 6, 2020, but Pallister has said in recent months that he has the right to call an early vote.
There are some bills currently before the legislature that Pallister would like to see passed, and he says he is hoping for co-operation from the opposition.
Pallister's Progressive Conservatives won the biggest majority in a century in 2016, and have been raising more money than the NDP and Liberals ever since.
