CALGARY -- Conservative Leader Stephen Harper and wife Laureen appeared in good spirits today as he arrived in the new riding of Calgary Heritage to cast his ballot.
"It's a nice blue sky. That's how I'm feeling," said Harper as he entered the Centennial Branch of the Royal Canadian Legion.
Harper didn't respond when asked how it felt to vote in the new riding but Laureen replied, "Great."

Harper was greeted by one man who shook his hand and said, "You got my vote."
The prime minister waited for his wife to vote before casting his ballot.
Harper shook hands with some of the elections officers and spent a few minutes chatting before leaving for the day.
