NEW GLASGOW, N.S. - Police in New Glasgow, N.S., are trying to identify people who were near a convenience store on the night Amber Kirwan disappeared.

The body of the 19-year-old woman was found earlier this month and police have ruled her death a homicide.

Kirwan had last been seen leaving a pool hall on Oct. 9 and was believed to be walking to the convenience store to meet her boyfriend.

He said she never showed up.

Police have released several grainy images and a video taken from security cameras of what is believed to be three males in the parking lot of Big Al's store.

They are appealing to the public to help identify the males.

Sgt. Brigdit Leger says it's possible there are more than three people in the images, but it's difficult to know for sure.
