Ontario Provincial Police say a 45-year-old Quebec man has died following a collision in the town of Hawkesbury, Ont., on Friday. Police were called to a collision involving a tractor-trailer and another vehicle on McGill Street in Hawkesbury at around 8 a.m. OPP said the driver of the tractor-trailer was pronounced dead despite lifesaving efforts. Police identified him as Martin Duranleau, 45, of Trois-Rivières, Que. The driver of the other vehicle was transported to the hospital as a precaution, police said. Police closed a stretch of McGill Street between Spence Avenue and Main Street for the investigation.
