A Rockcliffe Park home has sold for $5.1 million, the most expensive home sold in Ottawa this year. According to real estate website Redfin, the six-bedroom, five-bathroom home on Manor Avenue sold in June for $5.1 million. The home was listed for $5,490,000 in April. The listing on Sezlik was built in 1937 and featured a backyard oasis with an in-ground pool, hot tub and heated pathways around the property. “Doors open to a spectacular family home, lovingly restored and renovated in 2016 by one of Ottawa’s top design firms,” said the listing. “Throughout each living space, magnificent and priceless elements of original craftsmanship blend seamlessly with today’s most desired elements of high-end contemporary design.” It was one of two homes that sold in Ottawa in June for more than $5 million. A home on Lakeview Terrace sold earlier this summer for $5,025,000. Last year, Marilyn Wilson Dream Properties sold a home on Grandview Road in Ottawa’s Crystal Bay neighbourhood for $5.040 million. That home featured five-bedrooms, six-bathrooms, a saltwater pool and 117 feet of frontage along the Ottawa River. The most expensive property currently on the market in Ottawa is $15 million in Dunrobin. The home on 60 acres of waterfront property includes a home with six bedrooms and nine bathrooms, a three-bedroom guest house, a beach cottage and a barn.
