A third person has died following a weekend fire at an apartment building in Ottawa’s Centretown neighbourhood. The Ontario Fire Marshal’s Office continues to investigate the cause of the fire in a 19th-floor apartment on Somerset Street West on Saturday night. Two people were killed and two others were taken to hospital, including one in critical condition, following the fire. The Ottawa Fire Services said three people were found unconscious inside an apartment. A fourth resident was located on the balcony of the apartment and was safely rescued by firefighters. The Ottawa Police Service told CTV News Ottawa a third person died from their injuries in hospital Monday night. No other information about the victims has been released.
