Wheelchair Basketball World Championships The medals will be awarded this weekend at the Wheelchair Basketball World Championships at TD Place. See 336 athletes from 28 teams compete during the tournament. The Canadian Forces Snowbirds will perform their final three shows in the national capital region this weekend before the fleet is retired. Canada Army Run The Canada Army Run is no ordinary race. Thousands of runners will hit the streets of Ottawa for the Canada Army Run on Sunday, with a 5K, 10K and 21.1K race. Terry Fox Run The 46th annual Terry Fox Run is on Sunday, raising funds for cancer research.
