Temperatures will be 11 degrees cooler than normal in Ottawa today

It will be a rainy and cool Thursday in Ottawa, as the stretch of below seasonal temperatures continue for a fifth day.

Environment Canada’s forecast calls for a high of 10 C today, 11 degrees below normal for this time of year.

Ottawa will see periods of rain through the day. Environment Canada says the rain should end between 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., and then there will be a chance of showers through the evening.

The forecast calls for mainly cloudy tonight with a 40 per cent chance of showers. Low 6 C.

Friday will start cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers in the morning and early in the afternoon. Showers beginning in the afternoon. High 11 C.

Saturday will be cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers. High 14 C.

Temperatures will warm up on Sunday for the Tamarack Ottawa Race Weekend marathon and half marathon.

Sunday will see a mix of sun and clouds with a 30 per cent chance of showers. High 20 C.

There will be a mix of sun and cloud on Monday with a 40 per cent chance of showers. High 22 C.

The normal temperatures for this time of year are a high of 21 C and a low of 10 C.
