An ATV rider is OK after spending several hours lost and stranded on the trails in the Upper Ottawa Valley. Ontario Provincial Police say a man contacted police Monday evening, stating that his ATV became immobile and he was lost on the trails in Laurentian Hills Township. Officers with the Upper Ottawa Valley OPP detachment worked with the Renfrew Paramedic Services, including their Sierra Team, to locate the individual. Police say the man was spotted by an OPP helicopter along the trails and picked up by crews on the ground. He was assessed on the scene by paramedics and released.
