Owners of a golf club in Clarence-Rockland say their course was vandalized by e-scooter and golf cart riders. In a statement on social media, the Rockland Golf Club said the damage from the vehicles was intentional. In photos posted to Facebook, tire marks could be seen across a green and a bunker. “This type of behaviour is unacceptable and will not be tolerated. Our grounds team works extremely hard to maintain the course for our members, guests and community,” the statement reads. “Deliberate damage is disrespectful to their hard work and everyone who our facility.” The Rockland Golf Club told CTV News this has been an ongoing issue. The club is asking anyone who may have witnessed unusual activity on the evening of Thursday, Aug. 27 to contact them.
