Ottawa police are investigating after a person allegedly scattered pills in a suspicious manner throughout an east end park on Saturday. Police say they were called to Blue Willow Park off Longleaf Drive in Orléans after receiving a call from a resident reporting the incident at approximately 11 a.m. Officers say they found pills scattered near bushes and trees, on the grass and concealed inside acorns. Several pills of various sizes were seized, police say. “Parents, caregivers, and pet owners visiting the park are urged to exercise caution and closely monitor children and animals while in the area,” police say in a news release.
