Ontario Provincial Police say a second person has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the death of a man whose body was discovered in the Ottawa River last year. Robert Prevost, a 63-year-old from Clarence-Rockland, went missing in early 2025. In May of that year, he was found dead in the river near Dallaire Street in Clarence-Rockland. Police ruled Prevost’s death a homicide. In a news release on Friday, OPP said Jessica St. Michael, a 37-year-old from Ottawa, was also charged with first degree murder and indignity to a body. On June 4, police announced Luc Decarie, 51, of St-Gabriel-de-Brandon, Que., had been charged with first-degree murder and indignity to a body The investigation remains ongoing and anyone with information is asked to contact the Russell County detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
