Police arrest man after recording device found in North Grenville daycare

Ontario Provincial Police say a man has been arrested following an investigation into what police initially called an apparent act of voyeurism at a daycare in North Grenville.

A recording device was found in the unidentified daycare south of Ottawa on Aug. 20 and reported to police.

On Friday, police said a 27-year-old man had been arrested and charged with voyeurism.

OPP say the accused remains in custody and will appear in a Brockville courtroom for a bail hearing on Saturday.

Police said they cannot release his name until he appears in court.

An investigation into the incident remains ongoing, OPP said.
