The Ottawa Police Service is investigating after a man suffering from stab wounds boarded a bus in Ottawa’s Lowertown neighbourhood. Emergency crews responded to a call for an individual boarding a bus with serious injuries on Rideau Street around 10:55 a.m. on Wednesday An Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson told CTV News Ottawa the man was suffering from stab wounds. He was transported to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. An OC Transpo was stopped in the area of Rideau and Friel streets late Wednesday morning with police tape surrounding the vehicle. “The investigation is ongoing, and there will be an increased police presence in the area,” police said in a social media post.
