A woman was treated for serious injuries after being struck by a vehicle in Ottawa’s Lowertown neighbourhood. The Ottawa Police Service says police and paramedics responded to a call for a collision involving a pedestrian on Rideau Street, between Charlotte Street and Wurtemburg Street, just after 7 p.m. Tuesday. An Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson told CTV News Ottawa that paramedics treated a woman for serious injuries, and she was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Rideau Street was closed in the area for more than three hours while police investigated. Police are looking to speak with anyone who may have witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of the area.
