A pedestrian has died from her injuries after being struck by a vehicle on Rideau Street earlier this month. Emergency crews responded to a call for a collision involving a pedestrian on Rideau Street, between Charlotte Street and Wurtemburg Street, just after 7 p.m. on Feb. 3. An Ottawa Paramedic Service spokesperson told CTV News Ottawa the woman was treated for serious injuries and transported to hospital. An Ottawa Police Service spokesperson confirmed to CTV News Ottawa on Friday the victim died from her injuries this week. The Fatal Collision Investigations Unit continues to investigate.
