Ontario Provincial Police have seized more than 700 cannabis plants from two residences in Centre Hastings, approximately 116 kilometres northwest of downtown Kingston. Police say they were investigating a large outdoor cannabis production site and found another address where cannabis plants were being dried and processed. Search warrants were executed on Thursday at the two residences on Highway 62 and Moira Road, and police seized over 700 cannabis plants, cell phones, an enclosed trailer and a tractor. Six individuals are facing multiple charges under the Cannabis Control Act and are set to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in November.
