An Ottawa tow truck driver could face steep penalties for allegedly watching YouTube videos behind the wheel. Ontario Provincial Police say an officer stopped the driver Monday on Highway 416. A photo posted to social media by OPP shows what appears to be a tablet set up near the front passenger seat. The driver was charged with distracted driving, which comes with a $615 fine, three demerit points and a three-day licence suspension upon conviction, police say. It’s against the law in Ontario to use hand-held devices such as phones or electronic entertainment devices while driving.
