The Ottawa Police Service says a suspect remains at large following a stabbing in Bells Corners Wednesday afternoon. Officers were called to the intersection of Moodie Drive and Robertson Road at 12:45 p.m. on reports that someone had been stabbed. Ottawa paramedics say the victim, a man, was found behind the McDonald’s near the intersection. He was taken to hospital in critical condition but his injuries are not considered life-threatening. The suspect had already left the area by the time police arrived. Ottawa police briefly warned residents about a police presence in the area but have since said their operation has concluded. “At this time, there is no known risk to public safety,” Ottawa police said on X.
