The Ottawa Police Service is looking for witnesses and people with information about a fatal collision in Osgoode on Friday. One person died and another was airlifted to the hospital following a crash involving a vehicle and a motorcycle on Blanchfield Road near Cabin Road at around 5:42 p.m. on Sept. 18, 2026. Police said in a news release on Thursday that a 31-year-old man was killed in the collision and a 60-year-old woman was airlifted to hospital, where she remains in critical condition. The 31-year-old man was not identified, as his family did not ask police to release his name. Police are asking anyone with information regarding the collision, anyone who may have cameras on their properties, or anyone with a dash camera that may have captured the incident, to come forward, by calling the OPS Fatal Collision Investigation Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 2345.
