Ottawa police release photo of suspect accused of sexual assault on Colonel By Dr.

Ottawa police have released the photo of a suspect charged in connection to an alleged sexual assault on Colonel By Drive.

Last month, police arrested 50-year-old David Cheddesingh. The alleged assault happened in the late evening of March 28 under the Mackenzie King Bridge.

On Wednesday, police released his photo for public awareness, “given the vulnerability of potential victims and the possibility there may be additional victims.”

Police say he is known to wear black-framed glasses. Investigators believe there could be additional victims and are asking anyone with information to come forward.
