The Ottawa Police Service is searching for a missing 13-year-old girl known to frequent the downtown core. Nakita Morris-Copenace is described as an Indigenous female, approximately 5-foot-4-inches tall with a slim build, brown eyes and dark brown and blonde hair. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie, black tank top, black sweatpants and black Crocs. She is known to frequent the downtown area, particularly the Rideau Centre and ByWard Market. Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service at 613-236-1222, extension 7300.
