The Ottawa Police Service says its homicide unit is investigating what it calls the suspicious disappearance of a 64-year-old woman. Olga Konokhova was last known to have been in contact with someone in January 2026, police said in a news release. “The circumstances surrounding her disappearance are considered suspicious, and the investigation is being led by the OPS Homicide Unit,” police said. The exact nature of those circumstances was not released. “Although we are limited in what we can share, any information from the public could be important to the investigation,” police said. Konokhova is described as a white woman, 5-foot-6 (168 cm), and approximately 160 lbs. (72 kg), with medium-length, dark blonde hair.
