Ottawa police believe there could be other victims after a 39-year-old man was charged with several sexual offences. The Ottawa Police Service’s Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit launched an investigation in 2024. On Monday, police charged James Edmond Larabie with 10 charges, including one count each of sexual assault, abduct person under 16 years, sexual interference with a person under 16 years of age, invitation to sexual touching, unlawful possession of child sexual abuse and exploitation materials (CSAEM) and transmitting CSAEM. “Sexual Assault and Child Abuse Unit investigators believe there could be other victims in and around the Ottawa area,” police said.
