Ontario Provincial Police say a fire at a storage unit on the outskirts of Smiths Falls has been deemed suspicious. The fire happened at around 1 a.m. Monday at a storage facility on Lombard Street, police said. The affected unit was fully engulfed in flames by the time police arrived. The OPP Forensic Identification Services and the Office of the Fire Marshall are assisting with the investigation.
