Ontario Provincial Police are investigating after a person was found deceased inside a home in eastern Ontario. Officers visited a home on County Road 26 in Augusta Township just before 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. “One person was located deceased,” police said in a media release. “Preliminary information suggests this is an isolated incident, with no signs of a broader threat. Police continue to investigate and are actively monitoring the situation.” Police say residents can expect to see an increased police presence as officers continue the investigation.
