Ontario Provincial Police say they have identified the owner of some cows that have been spotted wandering along Highway 7 near Dwyer Hill Road in rural west Ottawa. Ottawa OPP Const. Michael Fathi said on Thursday that a black cow, possibly a bull, had been seen walking along the shoulder and in the centre median the prior two nights. “Several vehicles have had near collisions with the animal which could be extremely dangerous for both the animal and the motorists,” he wrote in a post on X. On Friday, Fathi said the owner of the bull had been identified and had spoken with police.
