Ontario Provincial Police are asking residents in Carleton Place to take a close look at family members’ hands as they investigate vandalism in the area. Police put out a plea on social media on Tuesday, asking if anyone in the area is missing a can of pink paint, or whether anyone knew someone who had “unexplained pink paint” on their fingers. “Police are investigating mischief to the skate park ramps, garbage cans and other property. Inappropriate pictures were painted in an area used by young people,” police said. The vandalism was discovered at the skate park Tuesday morning, and is believed to have occurred overnight. Police say anyone with information should contact the Lanark County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
