O-Train riders will be able to grab a snack while waiting for the train at several stations along O-Train Line 1 this fall. OC Transpo says vending machines will be installed at several stations to “improve your experience while generating new revenue.” According to the transit service, vending machines will be available at Pimisi, Parliament and uOttawa stations starting this month. In September, vending machines will be installed at Rideau and St. Laurent stations. Vending machines will also be installed at the Billings Bridge bus station. In a post on its website, OC Transpo says it is piloting vending machines as part of its Customer-First Action Plan. “You can find vending machines with a variety of snacks, including bars, chips, and cookies during your commute,” OC Transpo said. There are Happy Goat Coffee locations at Tunney’s Pasture, Hurdman and Blair O-Train stations.
