Ottawa paramedics say a cyclist is in the hospital after being hit by a vehicle in Blackburn Hamlet on Friday morning. Ottawa police say a driver collided with the cyclist at around 8:15 a.m. at the corner of Innes and Bearbrook roads. Paramedic spokesperson Marc-Antoine Deschamps said the cyclist was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital in serious but stable condition. The man’s injuries are not considered life-threatening.
