There are no reports of injuries after an early morning shooting in the Old Ottawa East neighbourhood of Ottawa. Police say officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 100 block of Main Street at approximately 4 a.m. Tuesday. “Upon arrival, officers located evidence confirming that a shooting had occurred,” police said in a statement on X. “At this time, there have not been any reported injuries.” Anyone with information is asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service’s Guns and Gangs Unit at 613-236-1222, ext. 5050. The 100 block of Main Street runs between Lees Avenue and Hazel Street.
