A man was seriously injured after being stabbed at Parliament Station on Saturday afternoon. The Ottawa Police Service says officers responded to 150 Queen St. to an assault with an “edged weapon” at approximately 4:40 p.m. Ottawa paramedics spokesperson Tyler Leslie says an adult male was taken to the Ottawa Hospital’s trauma centre in serious but stable condition. The man suffered injuries to his head and abdomen, Leslie says. His injuries are considered non-life-threatening. Police say no arrests have been made. Line 1 service at Rideau and Parliament stations was running on the eastbound platforms only for several hours, according to OC Transpo. Regular service has since resumed. An investigation is ongoing.
