A 20-year-old man suffered serious injuries after a stabbing in downtown Ottawa Sunday evening. Ottawa paramedics say emergency crews responded to the 50 block of Daly Avenue near Waller Street at approximately 7:45 p.m. The man was found at the scene with “a knife injury to the left armpit,” a paramedics spokesperson said. He was transported to hospital in serious but stable condition. His injuries are said to be non-life threatening. Ottawa police say there is no risk to the public. No arrests or charges have been announced. An investigation is ongoing.
