Shoppers in Gatineau, Que. no longer have to travel to Ottawa to shop at IKEA. The Swedish retailer is opening an IKEA Plan and order point at Les promenades Gatineau on Maloney Boulevard. “Plan and order points offer easy access to expert design services when planning, ordering, and purchasing home furnishing solutions for any room in the home, such as kitchen renovations or bedroom storage systems,” IKEA said in a statement. “Once orders have been placed, they can be delivered to their homes or collected from the pick-up location at the Plan and order point.” According to IKEA Canada, shoppers at the Gatineau Plan and order point will also have a selection of IKEA products to shop from. This is IKEA’s 12th Plan and order point location.
