The eastbound lanes of Highway 401 reopened west of Kingston this morning following a crash involving four transport trucks. Ontario Provincial Police say emergency vehicles responded to a multi-vehicle crash in the eastbound lanes of Hwy. 401 in the Greater Napanee area just before midnight. The OPP had closed the eastbound lanes of the highway Palace Road in the Greater Napanee area and Lennox and Addington County Road 6 in Odessa. “Cleanup work continues following a collision involving four transport trucks and a van,” the OPP said on X. The highway reopened to traffic at 8:15 a.m. One person was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
