The 2026 FIFA World Cup will come to an end on Sunday afternoon. Soccer powerhouses Spain and Argentina will face-off in the final match starting at 3 p.m. ET at New York New Jersey Stadium in East Rutherford, N.J. While there is no official watch party being held in Ottawa, the final is expected to draw crowds to bars and pubs across the nation’s capital to catch the historic match. You can stream or watch the FIFA World Cup final on CTV, TSN and Crave. Here is where you can catch the game in Ottawa: ByWard Market A World Cup Final watch party is being held on an outdoor screen in ByWard Square as part of the Latin Sparks Festival. Additional activities include DJs, Carnaval performers, giveaways, food and drinks. A street party will also be held after the match. Tickets are required to enter, but the event is sold out, according to event organizers. Entry is on a first-come-first-serve basis and are subject to the venue’s capacity. Visitors are encouraged to arrive early. Doors open at 12 p.m. Many bars and pubs in the market will also be playing the match. Britannia Park A family-friendly viewing party will be held at the Britannia Park Pier at 2805 Carling Ave. Additional activities include a painting and drawing competition, games, creative challenges, dancing, music and open mic moments. Pre-game activities begin at 1:30 p.m. Riverside South A final match watch party will be held on a giant video wall screen at the OC Transpo Riverview Park & Ride. All ages are welcome. Visitors are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. Local food trucks will be on scene. The event begins at 2 p.m. Ottawa Lebanese Festival The annual festival taking place throughout this weekend will be hosting a watch party on a large screen at St. Elias Cathedral at 750 Ridgewood Ave. Cineplex You can watch the final on the big screen at select Cineplex locations in Ottawa. Advance tickets are available online. Bars, pubs The Lowertown Brewery in the ByWard Market has been playing all Word Cup games throughout the tournament. It has also been the official gathering spot for Spanish fans. The Glebe Central Pub on Bank Street has been the go-to soccer hub in Ottawa and one of the busiest World Cup spots. The pub shows games on multiple screens inside the pub and a sheltered patio. Secreto Latino at 105 Murray St. is hosting a free watch party on a big screen. Bring your own snacks and drinks will be served. Ottawa Palapa Tours are hosting a free watch party on their floating tiki bars at the bottom of the Ottawa Locks on the Ottawa River. The Heart & Crown is hosting a watch party with DJs before kickoff, at halftime and after the match. There will be prizes given out.
