The rainfall total includes 118.4 mm on July 1 and 39.2 mm on July 9. The record for greatest rainfall at the Ottawa Airport in July is 249.8 mm, set in 2017. Ottawa received 42 mm on July 1, 2017, 42.6 mm on July 14 and 79 mm in July 24. In 2018, Ottawa received 180.8 mm of rain in July. July rainfall in Ottawa Ottawa has only received rain on five days in July but has received nearly 178 millimetres. Environment Canada reported 118.4 mm of rain fell at the Ottawa Airport on July 1. The city said some areas of Ottawa received more than 140 mm of rain on Canada Day, including 167 mm in Britannia, 141 mm in Colonnade and 144 mm in Nepean. Ottawa also received 39.2 mm of rain on July 9 and 17.3 mm on July 18. There have been six days with temperatures above 30 C in Ottawa this month, including a high of 33.1 C on July 2.
