Fireworks will light up the sky over the Ottawa River in Ottawa-Gatineau for six nights this summer. Organizers unveiled the lineup for the 29th edition of Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy at the Canadian Museum of History on Thursday, outlining six nights of activities between July 29 and Aug. 15. The popular festival showcases “internationally renowned pyrotechnic companies,” with a fireworks show to delight the crowds. Here is the lineup for Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy: Organizers say there will also be expanded programming inspired by the featured countries at the Canadian Museum of History each night of the festival. “Visitors will discover cultural, culinary and participatory experiences celebrating global traditions, with additional programming announcements expected later this spring,” Les Grands Feux du Casino Lac-Leamy said in a statement. Other events will include “The Magic Forest” family zone for younger visitors, eco-friendly workshops in “The Enchanted Dome,” live DJs and food trucks, and “Gourmet Evenings” hosted in the Grand Hall of the Canadian Museum of History on Aug. 1 and Aug. 8. Tickets are now available at feux.qc.ca.
