Police in Gatineau, Que. say no one was reported hurt after someone allegedly fired a gun toward a house in Hull early Friday morning. Police were called to rue Lambert near boulevard Fournier at around 6 a.m. after several people called 9-1-1 reporting a gunshot. Police arrested a suspect nearby a short time later. An 18-year-old man from Ottawa is charged with intentionally discharging a firearm, possession of a firearm for the purpose of committing an infraction and mischief, Gatineau police said. He remains in custody. Several officers will be on scene Friday for the investigation, police said, and residents were asked to avoid the area.
