Ontario Provincial Police say a 51-year-old man from Gatineau, Que. has died following a collision on Highway 401 in eastern Ontario. The crash happened at around 11:30 p.m. Wednesday in the eastbound lanes of the highway near Deer Ridge Drive, just west of Gananoque. The OPP said the T-bone collision involved a transport truck and a pickup truck. The driver of the pickup truck was pronounced dead in hospital. The driver of the transport truck was not injured. The highway was closed for approximately eight hours overnight for the investigation. Police have not announced any charges in this case.
