The Ottawa Sports and Entertainment Group is investigating a carbon monoxide leak in the Arena at TD Place. The Ottawa Charge were forced to cancel their practice Monday morning due to an “emergency repair” at the aging arena. In a statement to CTV News Ottawa, OSEG said a carbon monoxide leak was detected in the arena. “As a precaution, the Ottawa Charge cancelled their scheduled practice,” Janice Barresi, senior vice-president of Brand and Social Impact with OSEG, said. “The source of the issue is currently being investigated and actively addressed.” The Ottawa 67’s played at the Arena at TD Place on Sunday. The Ottawa Charge’s last home game was last Tuesday.
