Residents living east and west of the Ottawa International Airport could see more planes flying overhead due to construction. The Ottawa International Airport says Runway 14/32 will be closed for pavement rehabilitation and signage work from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday to Friday and again Sept. 16 to 19. All commercial flights will be using East/West Runway 07/25 during the construction. In a statement, the airport says communities to the east and west of the airport will see increased air traffic, while communities north and south of the airport will see a drop in air traffic and noise over the next two weeks.
