Alabama Shakes, Cameron Whitcomb, Third Eye Blind, Of Monsters and Men, and Alice Cooper will headline CityFolk at a new venue in September. Organizers announced Tuesday the 2026 edition of CityFolk will take place from Sept. 16 to Sept. 20 at the festival grounds of the RA Centre on Riverside Drive. “It’s another exciting turning point in our festival’s storied history,” said CityFolk executive and artistic director Mark Monahan in a news release. “We feel confident that our varied fan base of all ages will love the new setup at the RA Centre, and the program speaks for itself.” The Ottawa festival moves from its former site on the Great Lawn at Lansdowne Park, now closed for construction of the new event centre as part of the city’s Lansdowne 2.0 project. The announced acts also include English punk rockers the Sex Pistols, featuring Frank Carter, along with original band members guitarist Steve Jones, drummer Paul Cook and bassist Glen Matlock. Other acts include the Marcus King Band, Stella Lefty, Switchfoot, Angus & Julia Stone and Amigo the Devil. The festival announced a new partnership with popular local flea market 613Flea, featuring more than a dozen local vendors and artisans. Here is the full 2026 CityFolk lineup: The one-day presale begins at 10 a.m. Wednesday with full onsale beginning at 10 a.m. Thursday. For more information, visit cityfolkfestival.com
