Travellers will be able to escape the cold winter weather in Ottawa on non-stop flights to the Bahamas and Jamaica next winter. Air Canada announced it will offer non-stop flights from the Ottawa International Airport to Nassau, Bahamas and Montego Bay, Jamaica, beginning in December. “We are thrilled to add two new vacation destinations from Ottawa International Airport this winter, bringing even more convenient travel choices for customers in Canada’s National Capital region,” Mark Galardo, Air Canada’s executive vice-president and Chief Commercial Officer, said in a statement. “In addition to our new Nassau and Montego Bay flights, our winter leisure flights from Ottawa also includes non-stop flights to Punta Cana, Cancun, Tulum, Fort Lauderdale, Tampa and Orlando.” According to Air Canada, the Ottawa to Nassau flights will operate from Dec. 5, 2025, to April 10, 2026, with flights on Friday. The Ottawa-Montego Bay flight will operate on Sunday between Dec. 7, 2025, and April 12, 2026. Air Canada recently launched service from Ottawa to London’s Heathrow Airport, with flights four days a week.
