A warm and sunny Wednesday in the forecast for Ottawa

There should be plenty of sunshine in the capital on Wednesday.

Environment Canada’s weather forecast for Ottawa calls for a few clouds but no rain on Wednesday, with a high of 26 C and a humidex of 29 in the afternoon. The UV index is 7, or high.

The evening forecast includes only a few clouds and a low of 15 C.

Thursday is looking cloudy with a 40 per cent chance of showers and the risk of a thunderstorm in the afternoon, with a high of 21 C.

Friday’s outlook is partly cloudy with a 30 per cent chance of showers and a high of 24 C.

A few clouds could dot the sky over the weekend, but the forecast is looking dry and hot, with highs approaching 30 C.
